Sports and Athletics
Our students are passionate about sports and athletics and have the freedom to choose the one they like and wish to take up. We also participate in inter-school, district, state and national level competitions.
Ball Games
Ball games help improve physical fitness, teamwork, and coordination. They teach discipline, strategy, and social skills while making exercise fun and engaging. We have several learners who are interested in ball games, and for many years now we have secured top positions in handball.
Performing Art and Music
With professionals on board, we take pride in training our students in art forms like dance, drama, painting and more. We organize exhibitions, concerts and musical events to encourage our students to own their talent and flourish in those fields.
ICT Lessons
ICT is essential for developing digital literacy from an early age. It helps students learn problem-solving, critical thinking, and research skills while making lessons more interactive and engaging. ICT also prepares children for a technology-driven world, enhances creativity, and supports personalized learning.
Ballet
Ballet promotes physical fitness, discipline, and creativity. It improves strength, flexibility, and posture while teaching focus and perseverance. Through movement, students express themselves artistically and gain confidence. Ballet also fosters teamwork and cultural appreciation, making it a valuable addition to education.
Chess
We train Chess because it enhances critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. It helps our learners develop patience, concentration, and strategic planning, which are valuable in academics and everyday life. Chess also improves memory and mathematical abilities while fostering sportsmanship and resilience. By introducing chess in KGS, learners gain a fun and engaging way to build cognitive and social skills that benefit their overall development.
Debate
Debating helps our learners develop critical thinking, confidence, and communication skills. It teaches them how to express their ideas clearly, listen to others, and build logical arguments. Debating also encourages teamwork, research skills, and the ability to see different perspectives, which are valuable in academics and life
Cookery
At Cookery club we promote life skills, healthy eating, and fostering creativity. It helps children learn independence, nutrition, and basic math and science concepts. Cooking also encourages teamwork, responsibility, and cultural awareness, while reducing food waste
Swimming
Swimming is an essential life skill that promotes physical fitness, builds strength, and improves cardiovascular health. It also enhances coordination, balance, and flexibility. Beyond the physical benefits, swimming teaches water safety and can be a fun, low-impact activity suitable for all ages. Additionally, it can reduce stress and improve mental well-being, making it a great overall exercise.
Creative Art
Creative art is essential for children's development. It allows them to express emotions, enhances problem-solving and creative thinking, and improves fine motor skills through activities like drawing and crafting. Art also promotes cultural awareness and boosts confidence, as children gain a sense of accomplishment. Additionally, it provides a therapeutic outlet, helping manage stress and anxiety. Overall, creative art enriches students' emotional, cognitive, and social growth.
Skating
Skating is great way for our learners to stay active, develop important skills, and relieve stress. It helps improve balance, coordination, and overall fitness while also promoting mental well-being. Skating encourages social interaction, teamwork, and perseverance as students practice and improve their skills. However, while skating offers many benefits, we have restrictions due to safety concerns.
